Anyway, before start taking lomos, I already came up with a theme. The theme is Urban Sketchers Singapore. What is Urban Sketchers Singapore? What is it about? I really would like to share my experiences with you why i get active in Urban Sketching. It is my passion, it is my hobby.
From the bottom of my heart, i would like to write a poem about Urban Sketchers Singapore.
- Urban Sketching is where i share similar interests with people from all walks of life.
- Urban Sketching is where we meet one another as strangers and we become friends.
- Urban Sketching is where we show our sketchbooks as a group and tell ourselves our experiences with one another.
- Urban Sketching is where we show the world our drawing sketches.
- Urban sketching is where we take photography and lomography to keep the good memorises in our minds.
I would like to share my lomography experiences with you. Enriching and Valuable experiences. Please take a look at my lomos what we did last Saturday, 24 September 2011.
We had a Panoramic Sketching Challenge; several teams of 2-4 sketchers each received a 1metre long japanese album styled watercolor paper as a team. Its objective is to “support and draw it together as a team.”
11am: They quickly settled down and they were going to sketch the buildings in Ann Siang Hill.
Paul Artsg ,on the left, is very focused on his moleskine sketchbook while a team on the right, discussed the place and challenged themselves to finish a 1metre long japanese album styled watercolor paper.
Kun Rong amazed me by painting alone. He was not one of the teams for the Panoramic Sketching Challenge.
As a team of two, Wilson and Derrick worked together for the Panoramic Sketching Challenge. Big thumbs up for them who were willing to sketch on the ground under the scrotching hot sun.
I was looking around for the buildings for inspirations to sketch.
I was jawdropped by Don Low, who sketched this 1metre watercolor paper ALONE. I love his sketching style and line. He fearlessly sketches everything and he is not afraid to make mistakes. *clapping hands* + *A million of likes*
I finally found a good spot to settle down and i was going to sketch these 2 buildings. :))))
1pm: This is a “Show-and-Tell” session where we put our sketchbooks on the table and we looked around to see our sketches. Sketchbooks of different sizes, different paper quality with and without binds.
My mouth dropped like an O. Every sketch is very nice and beautiful in its own drawing style. The sketches are rendered and colored with the different materials used; copic markers, watercoloring paints, colored pencils, graphic pencils, black markers. Beautiful!! Its good to see them as a movtivation and inspiration to sketch some more. :DDD
The biggest sketch on the top and left is very beautiful! I love the sketch on the top and right. Its very detailed and neat! Thumbs up!
2pm: Look at the urban sketchers. They are still lively and energetic despite sweats and efforts to sketch under the sun.
2.15pm: Yayahaa! Lunchtime!!!!
3pm: Some urban sketchers still went back to their orginal spot to finish up the challenge after lunch.
Wowwow! Look at the 1m paper! 4 sketchers drew 2 parts each of 1m paper. Their drawing flowed smoothly just like the flowing river. Beautiful sketch!
The urban sketchers laughed with a heartful heart.
Urban Sketcher Tony, on the left, shared his KL experiences with the other 2 urban sketchers with his KL travel log book seen as above. Very beautiful sketchbook. He inspired me by his neat sketchbook with his picture stickers, watercolored sketches. Next time, I will buy a sketchbook and sketch everything till i finish it in my overseas trip.

While going back to my original spot where i continued watercoloring my sketch, something caught my attention; the floral and fauna plants! I just took photo. It is failed photo. the big leaves blurs and the background is clear. :X
Another failed shot! D:
Nevertheless, at least i took pic of this. This place looks good and relaxing for those who destress from work. :DDD
i love this blue building! :)))
4pm: This is my final watercoloring Moleskine sketch after 3 hours of drawing and watercoloring. I feel achieved and joyful whenever i finish my sketches. :DDDDDDDDDDD
It is great and nice to see Edric smile happily with his A3 artpiece. He went to watercolor it, sadly i didnt take it. I love his sketching line. :DDD

I want to show you my panoramic landscapes.
I complied 6 pics into 1 panoramic landscape.
3 pictures are complied into 1 whole landscape.
I saw the rain outside my home. Suddenly, La Sardina came to my mind. So why not take a pic of it? I did that. The picture, as a result, is blurred maybe because of the foggy rain? But i like its overall. I recommend you to buy La Sardina. It will make your life fun and active. Play with La Sardina and she will keep you company. :D
A friend jumped in joy and pointed a finger at the sky, i followed where she pointed it at. I saw 3 kites fastened together. they are flying very freely, i had the urge to fish for my La Sardina in my bag and found it. I was indeed happy and relieved after i took a pic of the 3 kites. I admit that La Sadina always turn ur photos into beautiful photos dated to the past like 1990s. Its a nice notaglic feel i love! Simply Beautiful lomography.
A friend smiled sweetly at my dear LA Sardina while we prepared for picnic together! :DDDD
